1. Information we collect
Account data: your email address, name, account identifier and authentication records.
Beauty profile data: details you choose to provide, such as age range, location, climate, skin type, sensitivity, beauty concerns, goals, preferences, budget and products.
Service content: AI coach messages, generated routines, checklist activity, progress entries and feedback.
Technical data: browser, device, IP address, timestamps, logs and diagnostic information used to operate and secure the service.
Billing data: subscription status, transaction identifiers and limited purchase metadata. Payment providers process card or payment details; BeautyOS does not need to store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use data to create and secure accounts, personalize beauty guidance, generate AI responses and routines, remember preferences, track requested progress, provide support, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and meet legal obligations.
3. AI and service providers
BeautyOS relies on service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, AI processing, analytics and billing. These currently may include Appwrite, Vercel, Groq, OpenRouter and a payment provider such as Paddle. We share only information reasonably needed for those services.
AI prompts may contain relevant profile details and recent conversation content. Avoid entering highly sensitive information, payment credentials or information about another person.
4. Legal grounds
Depending on your location, we process data to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and improvement, comply with law, and obtain consent where consent is required.
5. Retention
We retain account and service data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for recovery, security, disputes, legal compliance or legitimate business records. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.
8. Your choices and rights
You may access and update many details in BeautyOS. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Submit a request through our Support page. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
BeautyOS is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use the service only with a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without appropriate permission.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as BeautyOS changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Privacy questions can be sent through our Support page.
